Tools and Children

Today was a eventful day! Normally the boys wake up at seven but today the slept until eight. Which they probably would of slept later however the wonderful knock at the door wouldn't go away. So I got myself together to open the door. Only to find a man was there to redo my walls in the bath room. Thanks housing for neglecting to tell me, so I could of been prepared for him. I let him look at the bathroom and he said he would be back. In the mean time I proceeded to take everything out of the bathroom. The last thing for me to get out was our bathroom storage stand, which was nailed to the wall. I got a hammer to help get the nails out. Boy were they in there, it was hard to get them out. I kept pulling so hard that slipped off and the hammer came back and hit me in the face. Christopher had a good laugh at the fact his mother just hit her self in the face. The next step was to get the bottom back board off. Well silly me forgot that now that the top was not hammer in by nails that it no longer has any support. So naturally when i pull on the bottom the top came crashing down on my back. Ouch!!! Oh and my child thought that it was funny as well. I was so mad that it broke! I really liked having that in my bathroom and now I have to go find another one. So the point to this story is that tools and myself do not mix.

Christopher was so hyper today. He has this thing where he likes to tickle but he does it to your face. Don't ask where he gets this from because I have no idea. It's so funny how these boys come up with stuff. I love that we are at the point where I can have a conversation with him. Granted most of it involves dinosaurs and dragons but what else does a three year old want to talk about. Ha when I try to get Peyton to say anything to me he usually just gives me a kiss. I'm sure one day that kid will talk but Peyton has to take his time with everything. A girl at his birthday party asked why he doesn't play with kids. Do you think that's strange? I personally think he enjoys doing his own thing. He likes to run around and getting into things. Oh and of course we cant forget food. It's so fun seeing how different the boy are. While Peyton enjoys being alone, Christopher thrives on meeting new kids. He will just go up to anyone trying to strike up a conversation. Something he gets from his father that's for sure. I'm for sure awkward in that department. Christopher is also my sisitve guy, while peyton I think enjoys being mean and has a temper on him. Yup, they get that from me. Hey, they can't just have my good looks!

I'm going to leave you with that because I must get some sleep. This cold is kicking my butt and all I want to do is sleep. Blah!! So good night and we will talk soon.
